OYO @50 HEALTH OUTREACH: Another means of giving back to the Public as Chief Bola Ige- Oyo State government

Oyo State government has commenced free health outreach across the thirty-three (33) local government areas of the state for increased life expectancy and productivity.
Speaking, the chairman Oyo State @50 Celebration Planning Committee, Hon. Saheed Fijabi said this during a statewide monitoring exercise of the the health Care outreach in the state on Tuesday.
He said the government of the state remained committed to improving the health of the elderly, young, pregnant and persons with disability, saying this will engender productivity and expand life expectancy.
The two term federal lawmaker added that the Seyi Makinde led administration funded the free health outreach in respect of the week- long state founding year celebration as a way of giving back to the public, such he received during the administration of the Old Oyo Western state's Governor, Late Chief Bola Ige which he benefitted as a young citizen.
Fijabi, whille urging more cooperation from the people of the state with, said every citizen should prioritize his health for peace and socio-economic progress.
Similarly, member of the Planning Committee and Senior Special Assistant on Broadcast Media to Oyo State Governor, Mrs. Bosede Sodiq applauded the support of the citizens with Governor Seyi Makinde led government, urged every citizen of the state to make use of the opportunity to know the state of their health.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Sodiq noted that the celebration of the Oyo @50 Celebration will include film shows across the five zones of the state including Ori-Oke Mokola, and others for historical and future plans revelation of the State.
The Medical Outreach visited within the Ibadan Zone included Primary Health Care Centre, Basorun, Ibadan, Primary Health care Centre, Oje-Alafara Aderogba, Primary Healthcare Centre, Oranyan, among others.
