The Support Group of the All Progressives Party, APC, in Egbeda Local Government Area of Oyo State has congratulated the Chairman on Public Works and Member representing Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Oloye Akin Alabi on new Olubadan chieftaincy title as Ajia Olubadan of Ibadanland.

In a statement signed by chief strategist and media officer, Olawale Kunle, and made available to newsmen on Saturday, the group described Oloye Akin Alabi as a personality of development across the country.

The group noted that the activities of the new Ajia Olubadan of Ibadanland has nationally been recognized, adding that there is no how infrastructural history of Nigeria will be written without him.

The group said the road facilitation and supervision across the country, particularly south West including the completion of Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, ongoing reconstruction of New Ife-Ilesa Road, Costal Highway, others, are a signal of economy renewal under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

While felicitating Hon. Akin Alabi on new role as the Ajia Olubadan of Ibadanland, the group charged him never to renege in his effort at developing Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency for a global competition.

The group prayed for  wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and strength for the new Ajia Olubadan of Ibadanland for a continued legislative works beyond 2027, saying his performances are self-sighting and inspiringly convincing to every resident within the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency.

Meanwhile, the group called the federal lawmaker to ensure downtrodden, and actively participating groups, particularly Avant Garde, and members of the All Progressives Congress are more beneficial in his forthcoming Xmas And New Year Empowerment for an evenly distributed democratic dividends.

Recall, Oloye Akin Alabi was elevated by Oba Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja, alongside Governor Seyi Makinde's brother, Olumuyiwa Makinde , as Ajia Olubadan on Friday 12, 2025.
