It appears since 2019 that the administrative role in Oyo State, luckily swam to the Seyi Makinde led government, the All Progressives Congress has been making frantic effort to return to power. 

This almost got back in 2023 while the party led the People's Democratic Party with three senatorial seats, and fourteen House of Representatives Congress members, and further retention of Presidential seat, even after Late President Mohammed Buhari beyond 2027.

Only by understatement, shall we say members of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo did not suffer a setback in governance from the populist government of Seyi Makinde. No wonder,  recently, the Honourable Minister Of Power, Oloye Adebayo Adelabu described Makinde as a status quo leader and never a transformational leader at a Greet and Meet Media Summit in Ibadan.

This is a high hope that only the All Progressives Congress has all it takes to deliver a worthwhile democratic leadership. 

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commenced the due sectoral transformation ranging from foreign exchange and monetary system, energy and power, transportation and infrastructure, agriculture, security, among others through future tasking policies and drivers. 

Critically at this juncture, unity is expected for coming to life of the renewed hope of our infallible President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, even to members of the All Progressives Congress, duly, in Oyo State.

One thing that has struck the Party over the last six years in Oyo State, is failure of a grip, owing to aspirations and ambitions, which no one can sweep under the carpet, so far it is protected by the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as amended. No human lives outside ambitions and aspirations.

However, where it is malnourished, or miscalculated, its negative impacts usually submerge.

 From various quarters, APC, has been endorsed as a party of delight, lifting and reckoning as it has various humanly brains across the country. Getting onto the track is believed to be a mission from now, as the 2027 Political Voyage is gradually preparing to take off. 

Undoubtedly, every bigwig in the party must speak with one voice against the repeat of 2023 General Elections which set the Party almost against herself, with consequence of then, biting. As political astrologers have identified unity, loyalty and dedication of members of the All progressives Congress as singular response to returning to power in Oyo State in 2027, then, all hands must be on deck.

One will applaud Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu for admitting a holistic readiness to serve an onion of unification for the party. He apologetically noted that his leaving the party for Accord Party in 2023 was driven by aspiration, having begun the quest since comeback to Oyo State before the glorious exit of Late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, which he described as a chance missed for good continuity in 2019.

Oloye Adelabu who urged every member to aspire good and luck, warned working against aspirants within the party to avoid another crack in the wall. At this end, songs of peace and unity should be echoed by all, especially proclaiming the good performance of every member of the All Progressives Congress in administration, ranging from head to bottom to feed the People's Democratic Party and entire Oyo State Citizens

"Where knowledge is, there is knowledge".

If all of us are meant for progress, religiously, we advise us to forget about the past, and unite for a better governance in 2027. 

Oloye Adelabu has set out for the APC Rebirth Path, we should have one voice against another self created governance break in Oyo State in 2027.
