Minister of Power, Adelabu begins Mega Empowerment October 31










The Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, has announced the launch of his 2025 Mega Empowerment and Economic Support Programmes Series. 

This was a promise  made during his 55th birthday celebration in September.

 The programme will be implemented in batches, with the first phase scheduled for October 31, 2025, at the Bayo Adelabu Foundation House in Ibadan.

Programme Schedule is as follows: 

- First Batch (October 31, 2025):
    - ₦100 million business support grant for traders, artisans, and farmers

    - Guest lecturer: Olutayo Akinleye, economic analyst
    - Topic: "Business and Professional Survival Strategies in a Dynamic Economy"

- Second Batch (November 8, 2025):
    - ₦100 million economic support for APC Youth, Women, and Leaders

    - Guest lecturer: Prof. Stephen Lafenwa, Department of Political Science, University of Ibadan

    - Topic: "Beyond Politics: Survival Strategies for Party Stakeholders"

Third batch is November 18, 2025 

The programme aims to provide tangible support and create opportunities for sustainable growth for various groups, including market women, traders, artisans, farmers, students, widows, orphans, and persons with disabilities. 

This initiative reflects Adelabu's commitment to giving back to society and supporting the socio-economic growth of Oyo State .
