APC Egbeda Local Government Slams "APC Progressives Forum" for promoting division

Olawale Olaleye

The APC Egbeda Local Government Leadership has denied allegations of factionalism, describing the "APC Progressives Forum"-APF- as a rebellious contraption designed to promote factionalism within the party.

The party's Chairman, Comrade Olawale Olaleye, stated that the Forum's actions are reactionary and driven by personal ambition, rather than progressive ideas.

The APC Chieftain noted that the Forum's response to the state chairman's warning revealed structural distortion, imbalance, and disrespect for the party's authority.

Comrade Olaleye challenged the Forum to provide evidence of their commission as a mobilization committee for Tinubu 2027, questioning who gave them such a mandate while he flagrantly emphasized that the purported support group is duly recognized and assigned roles, rather the Forum has arrogated to itself a role it was never given nor formally reckoning for unity and value upholding of the Egbeda All Progressives' Congress.

The APC Egbeda Local Government re-affirmed that its structures are intact, working, and functional, with weekly ward meetings, quarterly general meetings, and monthly stakeholders' meetings, challenging the Forum to contradict the truth publicly if it is does have public acceptance.

While the party called for inclusive politics, emphasizing the need for synergy and exponential results,  Comrade Olaleye warned against divisive antics and sabotage, stating that the party will defend its mandate to protect peace, unity, progress, and development emphasizing commitment and vision of progress and development, without tolerating divisive politics that could derail the party's journey to victory in 2027.
