Makinde's aide, Ibikunle celebrates 50th Thanksgiving Service September 7

The Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Interfaith, Rev. Dr. Femi Ibikunle is set to celebrate his 50th Thanksgiving Service on September 7, 2025.
The event which will gather the Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, his cabinet, popular clerics politicians, family members, friends and well wishers will hold at Assemblies of God Miracle Centre, Eleyele-Polytechnic Express Road, Sango, Ibadan.
The versatile spiritual leader, activist and politician, was born on the 1st September, 1975 in Ibadan by highly respected parents, Mr. And Mrs. Ibikunle.
Rev. Dr. Femi Ibikunle is known for the truth, hard work, trust, loyalty, generosity, bluntness and societal development.
The firebrand motivational speaker is the pioneer political appointee in the office of Interfaith in Oyo State. He has consistently stood in the forefront of religious ethics and tolerance.
Dr. Ibikunle is a winner of various both ethical, political, religious, media and educational awards including Fellow, Eccolerite Institute for Peace Advancement(FEIPA), Journalist Olawale Ogunbusola Annual Award(JOOAA), Women Wing of Christian Association of Nigeria(WOWICAN), Initiative for Better Nigeria(IBBN), among others.
Speaking at a pre-event Press Conference in Ibadan, Rev. Dr. Ibikunle noted that the golden age is a blessing to him, adding that the celebration is biblical and as well a period to gather persons to appreciate God with him on the years spent gloriously on Earth.
"This is a glorious year ever for me. Of course, it is biblical as the Psalmist said in one of his writings. 50 years is never a joke. This is the time to gather more people to help me thank God for His goodness towards me."
He added that the Thanksgiving service will commence by 10.00am at his church, Assemblies of God Miracle Centre, Sango-Eleyele Road.
"I have got the need to share my story, especially as motivation to younger generation. All I can say is that 'God is good to me'. ", he posited.
Rev. Dr. Ibikunle, who has been politically relevant from the administration of Late Governor Lam-Adesina, still remains the eye of Governor Seyi Makinde in religious ethics, and reconciliation.
