Egbeda LCDA Boss, Hon. "Simple" donates Medical Equipment to Council's Primary Health Centre

The Vice Chairman of Egbeda Local Government and Political Head/Administrator of Ajorosun Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple, has donated vital hospital equipment and medical facilities to the Olodo/Ajorosun Primary Health Center in Ibadan, Oyo State. 

The donation, which held on Wednesday underscores Hon. Ibrahim's commitment to supporting Governor Seyi Makinde's efforts in improving the health sector at the grassroots level.

The donated items included hospital beds and mattresses, plastic chairs,sphygmomanometers, thermometers, drip stands, stethoscopes, bed sheets and standing fans.

Speaking with newsmen, the respected grassroots leader, Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo said the gesture was to make contribution to the society and particularly  towards enhancing the performance of health sector.

Hon. Simple, as fondly called, emphasized the importance of prioritizing healthcare, stating, "Health is wealth. In my little capacity, I am committed to complementing the great work of Governor Seyi Makinde, especially in the health sector.", urging the management of the facility to maintain the donated medical items properly.

In a brief remark, Matron, Olodo/Ajorosun LCDA Primary Healthcare Centre,  Mrs. Oni Alaba Omowumi, commended the local leader for the thoughtful donation, saying it will help in an improved health delivery in the local government area.

Meanwhile, pregnant women at the time appraised the gesture, urging more donation from both the government and wealthy  individuals which will better a functional local healthcare delivery.

At the donation event present top officials of Ajorosun LCDA, including the Acting Head of Local Government Administration, Alhaji Babatunde Ganiyu, directors, among others.
