Arsenal Signs Cristhian Mosquera on Long-Term Contract

Arsenal Football Club has announced the signing of Spain under-21 international Cristhian Mosquera on a long-term contract.
The 21-year-old defender joined the Gunners on Thursday from Valencia , where he made 90 appearances in all competitions, showcasing his exceptional talent and versatility.
Born in Alicante, Spain, Mosquera joined Valencia's academy at 12 and progressed through the youth ranks.
He made his first-team debut in the Copa del Rey as a 17-year-old in January 2022, followed by his La Liga debut against Sevilla.
Mosquera's impressive performances earned him a spot in Valencia's starting lineup, playing 37 out of 38 league matches in the 2023/24 season.
Addressing the newsmen, Sporting Director Andrea Berta, expressed excitement about Mosquera's signing, highlighting his versatility and potential.
"We're very happy and excited to have signed a hugely talented young player in Cristhian Mosquera. He is an important signing for our future and will strengthen our squad."
Earlier, Arsenal Manager, Mikel Arteta welcomed Mosquera to the club, praising his experience and talent. "We're delighted to welcome Cristhian to Arsenal. He is an intelligent player with good pace, who can play centrally and on both sides. He adds good quality to our squad, and we look forward to working with him."
Meanwhile, Mosquera will wear the number 3 shirt and join the squad on its pre-season tour in Asia.
