Senator Yunus Akintunde Attends President Tinubu’s Address to National Assembly

Chairman of the Senate Committee on the South West Development Commission, Senator Yunus Akintunde, representing Oyo Central was in attendance as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu addressed a joint session of the National Assembly.

The event was part of activities marking Nigeria’s 2025 Democracy Day celebration.

The President during the speech observed with appreciation the cooperation of the National Assembly on critical issues of governance especially the passage of various bills on reform programs on which the Administration hinged the Renewed Hope Agenda.

He further urged the lawmakers to legislate on laws that will drive real sectors of the economy with emphasis on infrastructure, manufacturing and small and medium scale enterprise that will create employment opportunities and skill enhancement for several unemployed folks in days ahead.
