The Avant Garde Support Group of the All Progressives Congress in Egbeda Local Government Area of Oyo State has met with Hon. Kunle Olatunji, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Oyo Central Senator, Dr. Yunus Akintunde over party's reconciliation agenda ahead of the 2027 General Elections.

The group, was led by its Strategy and Media Head, Temilorun Ebenezer, and Secretary, Samuel Ogundiran to the senator's aide's residence in Ibadan on Sunday.

Speaking, Oyo Central Senator's media aide, Hon. Kunle Olatunji, lauded the courage, resilience and positive drive of the group across the state, saying the activities of the group have greatly impacted the  easy spread of the All progressives Congress' activities to the grassroots.

Hon. Olatunji, who noted the importance of justice, fairness and strategy in the party ahead of the general elections, urged the group to strengthen its spread across the eleven local government areas of the Oyo Central Senatorial District.

The former Abiola Ajimobi's aide, fondly called 'KTJ' called the group to remain resolute, focused and dedicated towards reconciling the aggrieved members for a sustainable and credible delivery in the 2027 General Elections which will enable an improved democratic governance across Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.

While he called the support group members to be professional at their various capacity, said the group must be ready to action strategic planning for more exploits, pledged formal extension of various empowerment programmes to the group for more support and development.

 "This your move is highly appreciated. It is the beginning of reconciliation, already begun by the leaders. You moving on will go along way. Do not stop, keep it up until it gets to the top."

"The All Progressives Congress has all what it takes to return to power in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole. Sometimes, too many brains could be challenging. But, with this move, there will be justice, fairness, and cooperation."

" We are all aware of your good performances. Avoid compromise, conspiracy, and slackness. All what we desire is to return to power for a strategic and democratic delivery. Go on, be loyal, dedicated, focused. we are with you ", he said.

Speaking further, Hon. Kunle Olatunji, called the group to make efforts at sharing the brilliant performances of the President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, including Dr. Yunus Akintunde and Akin Alabi's mega empowerment programmes for both youths and women, legislative bills and motions, projects facilitation, and as well socio-economic policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, some of which are Students Loan Scheme, Agricredit scheme, impacts of removal of fuel subsidy, among others, which have remained unrecognized by the public for wider recognition and understanding.

In its remarks, the Secretary of Avant Garde, Samuel Ogundiran on behalf of others, described the Oyo Central Senator's media aide an encourager of positive programmes and development, called for a formal collaboration and recognition of the support group beyond Oyo Central Senatorial District, and Oyo State for more delivery.

Present at the visit included Avant Garde Public Relations Officer, Kabiru Isiaka, Youth Leader, Emmanuel Akintoye, Women Leader, Hannah Omowumi, Liasion officer, Sulaimon Lawal and Member, Hammed Sodiq, among others.
