APC Avant Garde meets State PRO, Sadare, Yunus' Liasion officer, Akande, discuss formidability

A support group  within the All Progressives Congress, Avant Garde, has called for more formidability, flexibility of the group for an enhanced performance.

In its continued consultation move and courtesy call to key leaders of the party within the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency and Oyo Central Senatorial District, the Avant Garde, met with the Oyo State Publicity Secretary, Hon. Wasiu Sadare and Hon. Taoreed Akande, the Egbeda Liasion officer to Oyo Central Senator, Dr. Yunus Akintunde in Ibadan on Sunday.

Speaking, the state APC Publicity Secretary, Wasiu Sadare described the group as" too unique" in its operations for the promotion of the All Progressives Congress, APC even beyond Oyo state.

He saluted the courage, co-operation of the group, adding that the consultation meeting has clearly defined its activities, and engagement all year.

While reiterating the ugliness of the nation's politics, he called the group members to be well rooted at its respective wards for more active participation and representation.

Hon. Sadare who noted the importance of patriotism, resilience, focus and doggedness of the group, 

urged the group to clearly define its goals, avoid conspiracy, pledged his unalloyed supports at all times for more excellent performance.

"Your group has grown wider knowledge and recognition beyond Egbeda Local Government Area of Oyo State. Meanwhile, you should always remember that politics is a game of number, and activeness."

"Therefore as you are doing your beats, make sure you are well rooted at your respective wards, being more active and participatory is the way forward to your function as a support group. Maintain your resilience, dedication, focus, and loyalty", he said.

Also speaking, Hon.Taoreed Akande, the  Egbeda Liasion officer to Oyo Central Senator, Dr. Yunus Akintunde, expressed his delight in the focus of the Avant Support Group, explained essence of active political participation, which thus must be learned.

Hon. Akande who lauded the group's consultation move noted that the move will redefine and enhance its social connections,  performance and future engagement.

The Yunus Akintunde's eye in Egbeda Local  Government area of Oyo State, who pledged massive extension of empowerment programmes facilitations to the group, called for an enhanced loyalty and dedication to the All Progressives Congress, and its leadership.

Similarly, an elder of the party, Hon. Olapade called the group to be all-inclusive, patient and loyal for a genuine growth and development.

Earlier, the Chairman, APC Avant Garde, Tayo Olatunji, on behalf of others appreciated the leadership of the All Progressives Congress, pledged continued support of the party and its consensus candidates in Oyo State and Nigeria beyond 2027. 

On the visit included the Avant Garde Secretary, Samuel Ogundiran, PRO, Kabir Isiaka, Avant Garde Liasion officer, Comrade Sulaiman Lawal, Women Leaders, Rachael Fisayo, Omowumi Hannah, Youth Leader, Emmanuel Akintoye, and Head of Strategy, Ebenezer Temilorun.
