2027: Egbeda APC welcomes Guber Aspirant, announces Adelabu's artisans' forthcoming empowerment programme

The All Progressives Congress in Egbeda Local Government Area of Oyo State has welcomed a  Gubernatorial Candidate ahead of the 2027 General Elections.

The aspirant visited the Local Government Party Secretariat during its weekly critical stakeholders' Meeting presided by the Chairman, Comrade Olawale Olaleye on Tuesday.

The aspirant, Hon. Peter Olaoluwa from Ward 11 of Egbeda Local Government Area, has been a devoted member of the party over fifteen years.

Speaking, the Local Government Party Chairman, Comrade Olawale Olaleye appreciated the effort of the members, saying it has consistently positioned the  party indivisibly in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.

Olaleye called for continued loyalty, dedication, commitment and focus as the new political dispensation is gradually returning to Nigeria, noting that this will make the party victorious at every contest in 2027.

Welcoming the Oyo State Gubernatorial Aspirant, Mr Peter Olaoluwa to the party, the leader of the Party, Hon. Biliaminu Ogundele lauded his courage, and focus for such an ambition.

Hon. Ogundele who noted the importance of democracy in the African countries, said the system helps to prepare individual for governance and politically participation,. calling the gubernatorial aspirant to imbibe patience, focus, commitment beyond 2027.

In his reaction, the Fiditi Born Politician and Chartered Accountant, Hon. Peter Olaoluwa, noted that his quest for gubernatorial seat was to bring good governance to the thirty three (33) local government areas of the state, if finally fortunate to be the party's Gubernatorial flagbearer.

" I have empowered many within my reach before now. I facilitated a 500megawatt transformer, polling units, streetlights  to Ifẹsowapọ - Celica Community area of Egbeda Local government, facilitated bringing polling units to the community, even as then a community chairman. I believe going into the public service will enable me to develop the grassroots. I so much believe in the grassroots development", he said.

One of the notable Apex leaders, Hon. Sule Suara while stressing the readiness of the stakeholders to work with any presented candidate for the party in the 2027 General Elections, credited the aspirant, urged him to remain loyal, dedicated to his unalloyed support for the development of the party.

Meanwhile, the Party announced the proposed mega artisans' Empowerment Programme by the Minister of Power, Chief Bayo Adelabu, adding that the programme will take place simultaneously across the 351 wards of Oyo State.

Present at the meeting included Comrade Ibrahim Bolomope, Director General, Akin Alabi's Campaign Organization, Hon. Debo Amoo, Hon. Chief. Murewa Adeboje, Oyo Central Senator's Liasion officer, Hon. Taoreed Akande, Avant Garde Chairman, Tayo Olatunji, among others.
