Distinguished Senator Yunus Abiodun Akintunde has completed two years of representing Oyo Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly. 

According to Hameed Mustapha Ramadan, a strong constituent and vocal supporter, Senator Akintunde's leadership has been a remarkable transformation from "good representation to greatness."
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
Ramadan highlighted the senator's achievements, including:

- Commissioning landmark projects at the Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo
- Facilitating infrastructure development, such as road rehabilitation and construction
- Improving healthcare with new primary healthcare centers and renovations
- Constructing new schools and ICT centers
- Deploying solar infrastructure, including streetlights and boreholes, across the senatorial district
- Empowering youths, women, and other constituents through training, grants, and equipment support

EFFECTIVE REPRESENTATION:
As a lawmaker, Senator Akintunde has maintained a visible presence in the National Assembly, sponsoring key bills and motions, including:

- Motion to halt the proposed electricity tariff increase
- Advocacy for resolution of the resident doctors' nationwide strike
- Sponsorship of a bill to upgrade the Federal School of Surveying to the University of Geomatics

LEGACY BUILDING:
Ramadan concluded that Senator Akintunde is not just representing the people of Oyo Central but is building a legacy through committed and responsive governance.
