The Oyo Governor's Correspondents have praised Mr. Ayodeji Awopetu, the transferred Chief Security Officer to Governor Seyi Makinde, for his remarkable personality despite a short stay in office. 

Adepetu was recently promoted to Monitoring Head at the Oyo State Police Command, Eleyele, Ibadan.

This came during a formal farewell event held at the Press Centre, Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan, on Thursday.

 The Correspondents commended Adepetu's exceptional qualities, describing him as accommodating, heartwarming, celebratory, loving, humble, and forward-thinking. 

In her brief remarks, Senior Special Assistant on Broadcast, Mrs. Bosede Sodiq, attributed Awopetu's success to his good nature.
Adepetu expressed gratitude for the co-operation between the governor's media unit and the state government,  noting that his new role would enhance the state's security architecture.

In their tributes on behalf of the Office of the Governor's Correspondents, 
Alhaji Olamilekan Sulaimon of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS) and Mr. Wale Olalere of the Ministry of Information, Oyo State praised Awopetu's remarkable tenure, wishing him continued success and good disposition.
