The chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Egbeda Local Government Area of Oyo State, Comrade Olawale Olaleye, has called on Nigerians to be optimistic about better days ahead. 

In his Eid-El-Fitr message, Olaleye congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the 2025 Ramadan and expressed confidence that Nigerians will soon enjoy the benefits of democracy.

Olaleye credited the resilience and steadfastness of Nigerians for the country's thriving democracy since 1999. 

However, he acknowledged the challenges facing democracy in Nigeria, including banditry, kidnapping, corruption, and vandalism, emphasizing the need for optimism and cooperation to establish healthier democracies.

The APC chieftain also congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his infrastructural development achievements at 73, praising Hon. Akin Alabi, Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal House of Representatives member, for his superb legislative and project facilitation, and Dr. Yunus Akintunde, senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, for his historic representation.

Olaleye appreciated the leaders of the APC in Egbeda Local Government, including Hon. Billiaminu Ogundele, Women, Youths, and Avant Garde, for strengthening the party. He expressed the party's readiness to return to power in Oyo State, promising more desirable democratic governance.
