Olatunbosun, Balogun, Otuka, Turner, Omoyashina, others to attend Ibadan Grammar School Drama Premiere

A creative and Art Teacher of Ibadan Grammar School, Samuel Adeyemi, fondly called 'Igesam' is set to premiere a school drama.
The premiere, billed for Wednesday 29th January, 2025 will hold at the Ibadan Grammar School Hall.
The school drama titled ', Dance Warrior ' was written by Igwesam years ago in his creative imagination to image possibility of overcoming challenges of life through positive mindset.
The invited eminent personalities include Oyo State Commissioner for Tourism, Dr. Wasiu Olatunbosun, President, Old Students Association, Ibadan Grammar School, Alhaji Balogun Gafar, CCICC, Curator and deputy director, National Museum of Unity, Aleshinloye Ibadan, Mrs Oriyomi Pamela Otuka, Curator, Young Artist Art Hub, Olaide Moyet-Turner, FEIPA, Chairman, Oyo State Surveyors, Alhaji Waheed Lamidi, Oyo State Correspondent and Prince FM's OAP, Olawale Ogunbusola, ace broadcaster, Olusina Olabode Omoyashina, others.
In a brief chat, the scripter and convener of the event, Samuel Adeyemi, said his intention was to restore school drama glory such as in the prime days of Professor Wole Soyinka, who through the artistic prowess affect the African Continental including Nigeria made at par with the Shakespearean community.
He added that through his works many potentials will be unleashed to the world, while Ibadan Grammar School be named school drama hub in the 21st Century a credit to the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde who has consistently improved the standard of education, through free education initiative, and over 14,000 teachers recently in his second term in office towards advancing the sector for n enviable development.
The event is expected to commence by 10.00am in the morning with maximum security.
