Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, officially presented the staff of office to the new Alaafin of Oyo, marking a significant milestone in the state’s traditional governance.

The governor, known for emphasizing unity and cohesion in the state’s development, used the occasion to reaffirm his commitment to working with traditional institutions for the progress of Oyo State ¹.

With the presentation of the staff of office, the new Alaafin of Oyo is now formally empowered to carry out his duties as the paramount ruler of the Oyo Kingdom.
