Former Oyo State Sports Director, Oloyede Babatunde felicitates Ex- Information Commissioner Youth Sports & Culture, Dr Rauf Bolaji Ojo -Oba at 70


Former Director of Sports in Oyo State and CAF Competition Manager,Elder Babatunde Oloyede has felicitated his friend and brother, Dr. Rauf Bolaji Ojo-Oba on the occasion of his seventieth (70) Birthday.

In a statement personally signed by Elder Babatunde Oloyede made available to newsmen on Sunday.

The statement noted that Ojo-Oba who celebrate his 70 on Earth, described him as a diligent, reliable and and problem solving personality.

According to Oloyede, saying, "I felicitate  with a brother and friend Dr Rauf Bolaji Ojo-Oba who was the former Oyo State Honourable Commissioner for Information,Youth,Sports and Culture between 1997 and 1999."

"He also served as Secretary General of Nigeria Football Federation between 2007 and 2010 before he retired as Director of Federations, Elite Athletes Department in the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports in 2015."

Former Oyo State Sports Council Director added that the personality in celebration delivered his best to the growth and development of sports in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole, thereby writing the name of Ibadanland with gold"

However, Elder Oloyede while crediting the focus of Dr. Rauf Bolaji Ojo-Oba's charismatic leadership while in office, prayed God Almighty grant him good health and wealth for the rest of his life.

"He is now celebrating JUBILEE age of seventy(70) on 7th, January 2025. Our Hearty Congratulations to illustrious son of Ibadan Dr Rauf Bolaji Ojo-Oba on this occasion of your birthday."

"As we wish you many happy returns on this planet in good health condition with fulfillment of your heart desires in Jesus name, amen."
