Hon Akin Alabi, the member representing Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency, has expressed deep sympathy over the devastating fire outbreak that occurred on Monday at the Bovas petrol station in Olukunle, Olodo, Ibadan.

In a statement issued by his media aide, Hameed Mustapha Ramadan, Hon Alabi described the incident as tragic and unfortunate, while commending the prompt effortsWe are deeply saddened by the tragic fire outbreak at the Bovas Petrol Station in Olodo, which has left destruction and hardship in its wake,” the statement read

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families during this challenging time.” of emergency responders in containing the situation.

Hon Alabi assured constituents that he is committed to working closely with local authorities to ensure support for those affected and to advocate for better safety measures to prevent future occurrences. 

He also called for a thorough investigation into the cause of the fire to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The lawmaker urged the community to come together in solidarity and provide assistance to the victims as efforts are made to rebuild and recover from the tragic event.

Recall, the fire accident, which occurred on Monday, caused significant damage to the petrol station and its surroundings, sparking concerns about safety and emergency preparedness in the area. Further details about the incident are awaited as investigations continue.
