Akin Alabi commended over PWDs' commitment, support

Hon. Akin Alabi has once again demonstrated his unwavering commitment to inclusivity and empowerment for all, particularly Persons with Disabilities (PwDs).

 This was highlighted during his recent meeting with Hon. Ayuba Gufwan, the Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Persons with Disability. The discussions focused on the Commission’s activities and ways the National Assembly could support its work through strategic appropriations.

In a statement issued by Hon. Akin Alabi’s media aide, Hameed Mustapha Ramadan on Saturday,the legislator reaffirmed his dedication to improving the lives of PwDs. The sAkin Alabi Commended for Supporting Persons with Disabilities.
“Hon. Akin Alabi remains committed to ensuring that all individuals, regardless of their challenges, have access to opportunities and resources that improve their quality of life. His engagement with the National Commission for Persons with Disability is part of his broader vision for an inclusive society.”

PwDs leaders also lauded Hon. Alabi’s past interventions in Egbeda and Ona Ara federal constituency, particularly his provision of mobility aids.

 "We are aware of the support you rendered to our members in Egbeda Ona Ara federal constituency. The mobility aids you provided have changed lives and restored hope for many who had felt left behind.”

Hon. Akin Alabi said his representation hinges on inclusivity “Supporting persons with disabilities is not just an act of charity; it’s a moral obligation to ensure no one is left behind. Together, we can build a society where everyone, regardless of ability, can thrive,” he stated.

The partnership between Hon. Alabi and the National Commission for Persons with Disability is expected to yield even greater results in the coming months, as he continues to advocate for their cause within the National Assembly. His efforts are evidence of the power of compassionate leadership and the impact of inclusive governance.
