Jide Falade Foundation Concludes Successful 2024 Sports Event with Awards Ceremony

The Jide Falade Foundation, a respected community organization, concluded its exciting two-day sports event today, featuring a wide range of athletic competitions and an enthusiastic awards ceremony.

The festival featured various competitions
• A dramatic 5-a-side Inter-Ward Football Tournament that ended in a 3-2 victory during the final match.
• Track and field events, including 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m races, the 4x400m Relay, and the 500m Race.
• Field competitions such as Shot Put and Javelin Throw.
• Table Tennis matches, showcasing talent from across the wards.

Leaders from across the wards in Egbeda gathered to present medals and cash prizes to the winners in each category. Their presence brought out the importance of sportsmanship and unity within the community.

Hon. Ogundele Bilianminu was among the dignitaries present. He praised the event, stating, “I commend Hon Jide Falade for this excellent initiative. It has brought the community together and highlighted the immense talent we have. I encourage him to continue with such impactful events in the future, as a beginner it always looks tough.”



Reflecting on the event, Hon Jide Falade expressed gratitude and outlined his vision for the future, “The Jide Falade Foundation has been in existence before now for several years. I appreciate my team and the coaches for their wonderful operations, and I hope to improve more in empowering our youths and women in Egbeda LGA.”



The Jide Falade Foundation continues to play a pivotal role in promoting sports, empowerment, and community development, with a renewed commitment to expanding opportunities for youth and women in the area.
