Madam Elizabeth Aiyedun Abegbo Oyedele (1937-2024)
Early Life
Born June 14, 1937, in Ibadan, Nigeria, Madam Elizabeth Aiyedun Abegbo Oyedele was a divine gift to Chief Salami Idowu (Ogboye Kemta-Oloko, Abeokuta) and Madam Olawanle Idowu (née Ogundeyi), who endured eight stillbirths and miscarriages. Her names, Aiyedun (stay with us) and Abegbo (listener to pleas), reflected her family's fervent pleas for her to remain, ending the cycle of stillbirths. Raised by her aunt, Late Mrs. Duro Abeke Oyewole (Nee Ogundeyi), in Lagos, Elizabeth learned discipline, entrepreneurship and sacrificial living.
Education
Madam Oyedele attended St. Stephen’s Primary School, Inalende, Ibadan, and Anglican Girls Modern School, Oritamefa (Now Anglican Commercial Secondary School, Oritamefa), Ibadan. She earned her Secondary School Leaving Certificate, prioritizing raising godly children with Pa. James Olufemi Oyedele instead of pursuing her life dream of becoming a nurse.
Personal Life
In 1961, Elizabeth married Pa. James Olufemi Oyedele, raising five children: Olakunle, Abiola, Olayinka, Olusegun and Babatunde. She also nurtured her sibling, Mrs. Iyabo Komolafe, and supported other indigent children as her own.

Church Service
Elizabeth's spiritual journey spanned the Church of the Lord Aladura, Foursquare Gospel Church and Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (2003).She excelled as an intercessor, counselor, and a financial member of the Senior Citizens group of MFM Asero, Abeokuta.
Legacy

Her life embodied discipline, love for education, sacrifice, generosity and unwavering love for the needy. Elizabeth's love for the use of proverbs and dark sayings continues to inspire countless lives in the art of communication. Her 63-year marriage exemplified selfless loyalty, discipline, dedication and devotion.
Later Life and Passing
