2024 Primus Awards: Adamimogo105.1FM, Prince 89.7 FM make history In Youth Friendly, Best Listener's Choice Award Category

Two newest radios in the heart of Ibadan, Prince 89.7FM and Adamimogo 10.5.1 FM have made a history by clinching Best Youth Friendly Radio and Best Listener's choice awards in the just concluded 2024 Primus Media Award.
The Award event is annually organized by a popular 32FM's Pidgin Presenter, and founder of Primus Media Academy, Samuel Afouda in quest to hailing and honouring young talents in the media industry.
The 2024 Edition took place at Mauve 21 Event Centre, Ring Road, Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, on Friday 6th September, 2024, drawing bigwigs in the media industry including former Nigerian Ambassador to Philippines, Ambassador Yemi Farombi, Yemi Sonde, Olusina Olabode, Kunle Fagure, among others.
In the end, Adamimogo 105.1FM Ibadan, a sister station of Adamimogo 103.7 FM based in Lagos State, founded by a globally respected christian cleric, Prophet Olu Alo, Adamimogo 105.1FM Ibadan won, "NEW STATION LISTENERS CHOICE AWARD (SOUTHWEST) and MOST YOUTH FRIENDLY STATION OF THE YEAR" barely a year of founding.
Fortunately, Adamimogo's young indigenous female presenter, Ibidun Mustapha won MOST ELOQUENT PRESENTER.
On the other hand, Prince 89.7FM Ibadan, founded by an Ibadan Prince and recently graduated law student from the prestigious Lead City University, Ibadan, Barrister Dr. Babatunde Balogun won a plaque through its young presenter and deputy head of Studio, Paul Bisan, fondly called Baba Dudu, in the male Listener's Choice Category, OYO STATE LISTENER CHOICE MALE
Speaking with newsmen, Head of Programmes, Adamimogo 105.1 FM Ibadan, Olusina Olabode "Omo Iyashina on behalf of the management, said that the awards winning were a testament to firebrand delivery of presenters and brilliant managerial performance of the leadership of Adamimogo FM In Nigeria.
Olusina, while crediting the general listeners for staying behind his station, pledged an improved and quality delivery for an enviable media attainment for a better society.
Meanwhile, the management of Prince 89.7FM through its director of Marketing and On-Air-Presenter, Kunle Fagure, appreciated the organizers of Primus Media Award, saying the organizers have set a barometer for media content and personality quality.
Fagure added that his station's nomination has validated the fact that the four expected media audiences, including, Mass, interactive, elite and specialized monitor the station.
However, both Olusina Olabode of Adamimogo 105.1FM and Kunle Fagure of Prince 89.7FM advised every awardee and nominee to add more values to the media creation and quality for a healthy socio-economic development of the society, while government should continue to give room for free Press for an improved democratic society.
