Breaking: Oyo Government announces Wednesday 21st Aug to conclude suspended 2024 BECE

Oyo state government has announced Wednesday 21st August, 2024 for the conclusion date for suspended  2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination, BECE.

Speaking to newsmen, the Registrar, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Mr Johnson Awodeji on behalf of the Commissioner for Education, Prof. Soliu Adelabu on Tuesday evening.

The Registrar who appreciated the patience and cooperation of education stakeholders, noted that the suspended examination will hold across the state in completion of the 2024 exercise.

Recall, the suspension came as a result of recently concluded nationwide planned protest which commenced on August 1st this year.
