Sarafa Alli's ally, Alimi announces 24th July adjusted APC decamping date,' We mourn Late Hon. Jagaban'

Senator Representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Sarafa Alli's ally, Hon. Kazeem Alimi has announced a new date for hundred of thousands of APC, ADC Ibadan mega decamping to Wednesday 24th July, 2024 from Wednesday 17th July,2024.

Speaking with newsmen on Saturday, Hon. Kazeem Alimi said the development is a joint decision of the defecting politicians from the All Progressive's Congress,APC and African Democratic Congress, ADC in Ibadan North to postpone the event by a week as a mark of continued  mourning of recently passed on Ibadan North Federal Constituency lawmaker, Hon. Musiliudeen Akinremi, fondly called Jagaban, having served humanly his constituents until the point of death.

" The change is coming as an honour to Late Hon. Prince Musliudeen Olaide Akinremi, a revered political icon and a star politician", he said.

He added saying,'' Hon. Akinremi Jagaban sadly passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 in Abuja and was laid to rest in Thursday 11, 2024 at his residence at Temidire Estate, Ologuneru in Ibadan. He deserves more honour from all of us though.

" Beyond party politics, Hon. Akinremi Jagaban was widely respected in political circles with more utmost respect from us all.", he said.
However, Hon. Kazeem Alimi said that the new date for the mega decamping is now Wednesday 24 July, 2024 at the People's Democratic Party Meeting House, near Salvation Army Primary School, Yemetu by 4pm, calling for cooperation and understanding from any inconveniences it may have.
