OYORUWASSA felicitates, describes New Olubadan, Olakulehin, golden royal ambassador

The management and staff of Oyo State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency, OYORUWASSA has felicitated the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Dr. Owolabi Olakulehin  .

This is contained in a congratulatory statement jointly signed by chairman of the agency, Alhaji Waheed Babalola and general manager, Adeniyi Adeduntan and made available to newsmen on Saturday, describing the new monarch a golden royal ambassador.

The management noted that the coronation ceremony of the high class monarch means came to being by its resilience, focus and discipline in the state. 

"Oba Olakulehin is a man of focus, discipline and determination which made him cross the bounds before his coronation on Friday 12th July, 2024, such a leader needed in this country ", the statement said.

The management appreciated  the governor of Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde, the  Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, CCII under the leadership to Barrister Ismail Ajewole, women, sons and daughters, civil and federal workers domiciled in Ibadan land for utmost support and co-operation which eventuated the worldclass installation of Oba Dr. Owolabi Olalulehin 

Meanwhile, the agency assured its readiness to partner with the new monarch in a quest to tackling open defaecation and traces of cholera from the eleven (11) local government areas of Ibadan.

It added that through this the state can only achieve the free cleanliness target of the federal ministry of Water Resources and as well key in to the approach and enlist all the eleven local government areas in Ibadan main and minor into the web of clean Nigeria campaign programme of the federal ministry of water resources and sanitation.

"With your co-operation, our state, especially Ibadan will be free from open defaecation and any kind of water-borne disease in the country.", the statement concluded.

Recall, Oba Olakulehin who is aged 89 on his coronation succeeded the 42rd Olubadan,Oba Dr. Mohood Lekan Balogun who joined his ancestors on March 15 2024 after reigning for two years.
