OYHA Lawmaker, Owolabi felicitates new Olubadan,Oba Owolabi Olakulehin boasts better reign

Coronation: Hon Olusola Owolabi Adewale Congratulates Oba Olakulehin as the 43rd Olubadan Of Ibadanland. 

A two-term lawmaker representing badan North East State Constituency II in the Oyo state House of Assembly, Hon. Olusola Owolabi has felicitated with the 43rd Olubadan Of Ibadanland,  Oba Dr. Owolabi Olakulehin, who was installed and presented staff and instrument of offive by the governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde on Friday 12 July, 2024.

In a statement signed by his Media Group and made available to newsmen in Ibadan on Friday, Hon. Owolabi described Oba Dr. Owolabi Olakulehin as a worthy successor and a respectable leader who would take Ibadanland to greater heights. 

Hon. Olusola owolabi who also commended the people of Ibadan for their peaceful conduct during the coronation ceremony, noted that such a disposition exemplifies existence of unity and harmony in the state. 

However, the lawmaker urged Oba Dr.  Olakulehin to use his wisdom and experience to promote peace, development, progress of Ibadanland as to surpass his predecessors. 

"Oba Olakulehin is a leader, who has the interest of Ibadanland at heart.and he will lead the city to greatness," Hon. Owolabi said.

The second term lawmaker prayed good health for the new Olubadan lawmaker prayed to God for a successful steering  of Ibadanland with tremendous development and progress for the entire state.

Recall, Oba Olakulehin who is aged 89 on his coronation succeeded the 42rd Olubadan,Oba Dr. Mohood Lekan Balogun who joined his ancestors on March 15 2024 after reigning for two years.
