Makinde, Arapaja, Famojuro, Omotosho, others to officially receive One thousand Ibadan North APC Members to PDP July 17

The Oyo State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, will receive hundreds of thousands of decampees the opposition party,  the All Progressive Congress (APC) at a grand rally slated for  Wednesday 17th July 2024.

The event is billed to take place at the Salvation Army Primary School, Yemetu open land, opposite Yemetu Police Barracks on Adeoyo Road, off Total Garden, Ibadan, the Ibadan North Local Government Area of the state at 4 pm prompt.

One of the All Progressives' Congress decampees, includes the serving Oyo South Senator, Sarafa Alli's ally, Hon. Kazeem Alimi, who will be welcomed by the Deputy National Chairman of PDP (South), Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja, as well as other prominent party leaders, including Otunba Seye Famojuro, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Seun Olufade, former Deputy Governor Barrister Azeem Gbolarumi, the Chairman of the PDP Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Seun Adelore, and the Chairman of the Oyo State Housing Corporation, Hon. Ademola Omotoso.

Speaking ahead of the event, Sarafa Alli's ally, Hon. Kazeem Alimi expressed his delight in respect of returning to the ruling People's Democratic Party,PDP, as a "dream come true", adding that he has no regret dumping APC, as it has failed to help him fulfill his political ambition, despite much delivery.

Meanwhile, Hon. Kazeem Alimi promised to add value to the new most welcoming party, PDP, adding that his experiences over the years will help pool for more ground gaining of the party ahead of the 2027 General Elections inOyo state

The decamping ceremony will be graced by the executive governor of the state, Engineer Seyi Makinde and other gladiators of the People's Democratic Party, PDP.

Recall, about one thousand members of the All Progressives' Congress, APC in Ibadan North Local Government Area of Oyo State dumped for the People's Democratic Party, PDP, three weeks earlier.
