Reverse Privatization policies, cancel offices of first lady for real democracy in Nigeria- Abbey Trotsky tells Tinubu

As the country still analyze the first year achievement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration,a Human Rights activist and Chairman, Campaign for Democratic and Worker's Rights, Oyo state chapter, Comrade Abiodun Bamigboye has called for political will in formulating policies that will bring  respite to  Nigerians by the political administrators.

Featuring on Prince FM'smidweek programme,' The Entrepreneur in Nigeria Polity", anchors by Olawale Ogunbusola, Comrade Abiodun Bamigboye, stated that there is a need for reversal of privatization policies, use of contract staff for  public works and cancelation of offices of first Ladies across the country, which he said will save up more resources.

"If government or governance is about the interest of vast majority of the people ,I think that Tinubu led government should prioritize the policies that will be able to bring permanent respite to the mass of Nigeria working people"

" All of these policies are not something that are too big to be done. For instance, let all the privatization policies, which have proven fierce over the years, be reversed.

" The other one of these policies is the use of contract system. This is one of the ways through which all of these politicians steal funds.

"The third one,  the office of the first lady ,whether at the state or federal level is unconstitutional and unknown to law. A lot of public fund continue to be wasted on this funding office, it is illegal.

" If the office is cancelled, all of the funds that often sink into that office can begin to be used better the life of the working people and these are some of the things we think Nigerian government have to do, but to do this, it means that the government must make a radical departure from its capital policies", he said.

Bamigboye, fondly called Abbey Trotsky, called government at all levels in the country to embrace socialism against capitalism system of government as this will reduce corruption, exploitation and mismanagement of resources.

Meanwhile, the human activist urged the governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde to ensure the massive funds earmarked into agriculture development becomes materialized, while the should be transparently massive tractorization and farm inputs subsidy for food sufficiency.
