A support group, known as Oyo Dotun Solidarity Group has described the founder of ICAST and Ilaji Hotels and Resort, Dr. Jubril Dotun Sanusi as a man of the people.
This is contained in a statement made available to newsmen on Tuesday in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state.
The statement signed by its state's conveners, noted that the Ibadan philanthropist has gained people's love owing to his usual concern for the other citizens especially the less privileged.
The group added that Dr.Jubril Dotun Sanusi has positively affected the lives of over 500,000 Nigerians over the last five years through his educational institutions located at Oluyole Extension-Elebu Area, and equally his world class resort on Olunloyo- Moga Road in Ona Ara Local Government Area of the state, aside non-Ibadan indigenes.
While acknowledging the philanthropist's socio-economic limitless support, the group noted that it is ready totally rally round him with his future capacity, reiterating that theIbadan born philanthropist's good performance has drawn attention from outside the country, for a selfless delivery and for emulation.
" No one will believe Dr. Sanusi is a Nigerian by his selflessness, aside the former nationalists, including Late Obafemi Awolowo, Herbert Macaulay, Nnamdi Azikwe, and few others who put themselves sacrificially on the line because of good democracy and liberation of our society; Sanusi is a carbon copy of them."
" Sanusi is a planner, an architect, a mirror, a mentor, a lover, a cheerful giver, a souce of water to the poor, a peacemaker, a tradition, an imager, a builder, a philosopher, who can govern Democratic all if birthed in the national's well of politics and governance, just to say a few. He is worthy of emulation and support "
Oyo Dotun said it is ready to robe around Dr. Sanusi, as this will serve a propulsion to more positive performance in Nigeria,especially to good people of the state.
Meanwhile, the group urged the Ibadan philanthropist to continue his disposition, noting someday it will pay off.
