Breaking: Sarafa Alli's loyalist, Hon. Kazeem Alimi dumps APC, says return to PDP will enable service to humanity.
A political loyalist to senator representing Oyo South on the platform of the All Progressive's Congress, APC, Hon. Kazeem Alimi has dumped the All Progressive's Party ,APC, for the ruling People's Democratic Party, PDP, in Oyo State.
The defection which occurred on Tuesday in Ibadan, the Oyo South Senator's loyalist stated that he has no regret returning to PDP having tried both APC and African Democratic Congress, ADC, said there is no hope in them rather than to return homeward.
In his remarks after a formal defection into the ruling party, received by the governor of Oyo state's ally, Chief Seye Famojuro, Honourable Alimi said his return to the PDP will put an end to an aimless sojourn in the All Progressive's Congress, APC.
"Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am pleased to announce my return to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after a thoughtful consideration of my political journey thus far"
The 2019 Oyo Assembly Aspirant said he felt cheated by the process used during the primary exercise which produced another candidate, this which threw him into the All Progressive's Congress, for due justice, insisting that the journey has had no impact, this has eventuated his return to the earlier party, having considered it now reformed and competitive considering the good performance of the state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde since 2019 which has affected Health, Education, Security and Economy sectors of the state.
"On October 18th, 2018, following the party primary in which I contested as an aspirant for the Oyo State House of Assembly in which I was not satisfy with the process. "
"I made the decision to join the All Progressives Congress (APC).
During my tenure in APC, I have had the privilege to work alongside esteemed leaders and dedicated members who have supported and encouraged me immensely."

Earlier, Chief Otunba Seye Famojuro in his address, advised the defectors not to consider themselves as new members of the PDP but as an integral part of the party. Otunba Seye Famojuro promised that the decamped members will be well-compensated by the party and treated as one family, not as newcomers.
